Directions to the Merriam School (in the Parker Damon Building)
The Merriam School is near the intersection of Route 27 and Route 111 in Acton, and it is easily accessible from Route 2. (Route 495 is a few miles to the west along Route 2, and Concord is several more miles to the east along Route 2.) See the map of our location.

- Heading west on Route 2: (From the direction of Boston) Once you are past the Route 2 rotary near the Concord Prison, continue on Route 2 and get into the left lane. Just after the first set of lights past the rotary, Route 111 comes in on the left and Route 2 goes off to the right; stay to the left and get onto Route 111. Very quickly you come to a traffic light (at the intersection with Route 27); stay in the right lane and go straight through the light. Take the first right past the light and you will enter the main Acton-Boxborough school campus.
- Heading east on Route 2: (From the direction of Fitchburg/495) Take the exit for Route 27 and turn right onto Route 27 (heading south toward Maynard). At the first traffic light, turn right onto Route 111. Take the first right and you will enter the main Acton-Boxborough school campus.
The Parker Damon Building, which houses both the Merriam School and the McCarthy Towne School, is the second building on your right at the top of a small hill. It is a large, silver building with a traffic circle in front and guest parking below that.
Note: The Acton-Boxborough school campus area is also home to the Junior High, the High School, and the administrative offices (located in the old Merriam school building).
