Merriam After Hours, Merriam After Hours Drop-In, and Merriam Enrichments Programs is canceled whenever Acton Public Schools are closed (i.e. school vacation, holidays, half days not falling on Thursdays, snow days) or have a weather-related delayed opening/early dismissal. After Hours is closed in the afternoon on the last day of school.
Merriam After Hours is a childcare program for all Parker Damon students in grades K-6. Children in the program participate in a variety of activities including homework help, board games, arts and crafts, computer time and outdoor play. To register your child for Merriam After Hours, complete the forms below and return them with the nonrefundable registration fee to the Merriam Office.

All forms must be printed, filled out and returned to Merriam School before your child can participate. Siblings get a 10% discount on tuition.

Merriam After Hours is excited to announce a new drop-in program!
Merriam After Hours provides…
To ensure there issufficient coverage for all children in the program, parents must send in the drop-in form at least 2 days before childcare is needed. Payment is also due 2 days before childcare is needed. Drop-in slots will be limited, so it is important to send in the form as soon as possible. You will recieve an email that will let you know if your spot is reserved.
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to accommodate last minute requests.
It is also necessary to e-mail the request to both Leah Richardson(lrichardson@mail.ab.mec.edu) and Joanne Mills (jsmills@mail.ab.mec.edu) so that the school and the program are sure your children safely makes it to where they are supposed to be.
In order for children to come to the drop-in program, you must print and fill out the Merriam After Hour Drop-In Form and First Aid/Medical Consent Form below.
If you anticipate you may need to use the drop-in program any time in the school year, it would be a good idea to send in
these forms in September or during the summer. Forms should be sent to Merriam After Hours, c/o Leah Richardson, 11 Charter Road, Acton MA 01720.
